Ipi Ntombi played for 18 months on the Las Vegas Strip
The “Golden Eagle Award” for the video recording of the stage show in Cape Town, South Africa (1998). This was recorded by the Connecticut Public Broadcasting Station (PBS) and used successfully for fundraising across the United States. This video won this Award for Excellence in Film and Video.
Awarded to Bertha Egnos and Gail Lakier by Minister Pallo Jordan, Department of Arts and Culture (2007), for their contribution to South African Music.
